I photographed this 8½x11 log book 25 March 2020. It had plenty of blank pages and was not disintegrating. I left it in North Dugger Mountain Shelter for further use.

Out and back from FS500 to Oakey Crossing. Scouting trail conditions for future work days. Several stretches that need a brush cutter and a few big blowdowns on south side of Oakey near the top. The Pinhoti is maintained by a few dedicated volunteers. Want to get involved and make a difference?? - Look us up on Facebook - "Alabama Pinhoti Trail Maintainers."

Brought my 2 nephews to the shelter, will probably hike to the lake and back. Doing some breathwork (wim hof method). Great place to oxygenate the body, no polluted air and it doesn't get much better than this. I love you, have a great day family.

The fire was already going when we rolled into camp. Good camping, good weather, stars in the night sky, what more could you ask for? Easy miles today, taking our time. Maybe I'll go swimming...

Hiked in from Ladiga Campground. Lots of doened trees before Terrapin Watershed. Black Lab folloed us here from Terrapin WS and spent the night with us. Wonderful, friendly dog with red / orange collar on. We nicknamed him "ligma" because wel LOL. He got spooked last night and barked at coyotes in distance which brought them really close to camp just below the ridge. Thanks to whoever stocked the firewood. Great spot for a night.
