Pinhoti People: Angee

Angee
On 3 April 2020, I had left Trammel Trailhead travelling north. John and I had found one other car in the parking lot, which had a Birmingham area plate. Less than a half mile in, I found Angee relaxing off trail with her new dog. She had found the Pinhoti for the second time using Alltrails. She often uses Alltrails when she is traveling about and has some extra time for hiking. In a previous journey she found the Heflin Spur of the Pinhoti, where she felt grounded and natureful during a long rest under the waterfall. Near Trammel today, she also enjoyed the energy of the Pinhoti. After her two good visits to the Pinhoti, she looks forward to many more. She first heard about the Pinhoti from an 18 year old grocery clerk who had hiked the Pinhoti with her dad. She has lived in Leeds for two years. She moved here from the Los Angeles area because there, there were more people than trees, whereas here, there are more trees than people.
